On my graduation day, my faourite teacher Mrs Borchers gave me a diary as a leaving present. On the first page she had written: "Fortes fortuna adiuvat". It means:

This has guided me until today. My career has taken me from an early leadership role in emerging markets research (as a Country Director I was based in Indonesia, Turkey, Thailand and Algeria) to becoming Digital Ambassador in Namibia, to founding my own company embassidy. Through this path, I have gained a holistic view on global political dynamics and economic developments, a fine sense for different cultures and people, and a deep understanding for entrepreneurial journeys.

I have always had a passion for hosting events; for making people come together. For them to learn, to be inspired and create change.

I am a frequent traveler and nomad, and am now living between Cologne and Windhoek. My daughter Marie-Lou means everything to me. I love to dance. Without music my world would be nothing.
